Ben Lewellyn-Taylor is a writer in Chicago. He writes book and film criticism and is a graduate of the Antioch University MFA program in creative nonfiction.

Ben’s essays and reviews have appeared in The Adroit Journal, Bridge Eight Press, Colorado Review, Electric Literature, HASH Journal, Heavy Feather Review, Lunch Ticket, New Critique, Newfound, New South Journal, No Contact Mag, Oyez Review, Porter House Review, Postscript Magazine, under the gum tree, and Variety Pack. Ben is a member of the National Book Critics Circle. He contributes to The Athenaeum Review, an arts journal at UT Dallas, where he reviews books on music. He holds a Master’s in Theological Studies, and his scholarly writing is featured in a co-written chapter for the book Kendrick Lamar and the Making of Black Meaning (Routledge, 2019).
